STEP 1. RESERVE YOUR DATE

After you reserve your date, I will send a short questionnaire to learn a bit about you. This will help us decide on locations and which session type will work best. Payment will be due on or before your session date. Cost includes edited digital photos with a print release. The number of photos depends on the type of session you choose (see pricing and session details below).

STEP 2. LET'S TAKE THOSE PHOTOS

I will get in touch a few days before your session date to confirm the best time (based on weather and time of year). I like to meet about two hours before sunset. After your session, I will send a proof gallery so you can select your favorites. I will then edit your favorites and deliver a final gallery with a print release and download instructions.

STEP 3. YEARBOOK, WALLETS, ETC.

Yearbook photo deadlines are usually around mid-October. If you send me the guidelines and let me know which image you'd like, I can submit it for you. Need some wallets? An album? Larger prints for family? You can order directly through my store or, download your photos and order where you'd like. If you're not sure about sizes and papers, I'm here to help. I can order prints for you, create a custom album with your favorite photos, and more.

STEP 4. ONE LAST THING BEFORE GRADUATION

Don't forget, if you want a Cap & Gown session before graduation, reserve your date as soon as possible. Springtime gets so busy with sports, jobs, and school that the best time slots fill up quickly.

Single session

A single session is approximately one hour in a single, general location. Includes 20+ edited photos. Additional sessions can be added for $150.

Where will photos be taken?

I can recommend some of my favorite locations, but I'm always willing to try somewhere new. For locations more than 30 minutes from Iola, I add $25 per 30 minutes of driving.

Can I choose the location for our photo shoot?

Absolutely! I'd love to capture portraits in a place that holds meaning to you. For locations more than 30 minutes from Iola, I add $25 per 30 minutes of driving.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

I'll send you a proof gallery within two weeks of your session. Final photos are generally delivered within a week after you select your favorites. If there will be a delay, I will let you know.

What happens if the weather looks bad the day of the shoot?

I will be in touch before your session and if it looks like the weather won't cooperate, we will choose an alternate date.

What should I wear?

Wear something that fits well and makes you feel great. I don't limit outfits but I do recommend starting with your favorite. Feel free to bring extra outfits and we can look them over at your session.

How many photos will I get?

I will send proofs of the best photos and you can select which ones you'd like me to do final edits on. At least 20 photos per hour of shooting is included with sessions.
